May 11, 2021 -- Pranoy Roy and Majid T. Fard, both are Ph.D. students with the AMPERE Lab, have passed the dissertation Oral Qualifying Exams. Their proposed dissertation titles are:
Pranoy: Hourly Dispatching Wind-Solar Hybrid Power System with Battery-Supercapacitor Energy Storage
Majid: High-Performance "Si+SiC" Hybrid Multilevel Inverter for Electric Aircraft Propulsion
Their recent research accomplishments on these topics have been published in refereed IEEE journals and conference proceedings. Congratulations to both on achieving the research milestones!
